No more Bleed?

Thu Sep 10, 2009, 4:24 AM
Recently I've been seriously toying with the idea of well getting rid of Bleed :/ I designed her six years ago as a child and although shes not changed through the six years i've been thinking her name and design is abit..I guess lame?

The only thing is after so many years Bleed has become my identity and can such a identity be replaced?

What do you guys think?

Well, that's seriously a decision that you have to make yourself, but if you want an outside opinion here it is:
I don't think Bleed's design is lame at all, I think she's quite unique and beautiful.
You can change a few stuff about her that you don't like though, if you don't want to get completely rid of her.

But it's all very subjective, she's your identity so only you know if she can be replaced.
I know myself, that Polaris is my identity and that she's not replaceable, but there are other people that replace their identity char all the time.

It's up to you! I wouldn't do it if I were you though, I really like Bleed, but it's your choice :)

I don't think it's "lame", but I guess you could conjure up yourself another one if you feel that she's not enough. So many people have more than one representing themselves, maybe you should try it. She could be so much but lack some parts, that's where another OC comes in handy. :)

Ive gone through exactly the same thing! And I understand 100%
I wouldn't get rid of her....but if you don't really feel inspired by her anymore, maybe try a new character

Why when people ask you "what three things would you bring with you on a desert island?" no one ever replies, "A BOAT"

No way is Bleed lame, she is beautifully unique. In all the time I've known of her and seen other horse characters I have never seen one remotely similar.
If you don't feel she's you anymore then maybe you should try making a new character that is more you.
Besides you need Bleed for your story don't you?

I love bleeeeeedy!
Design and all, if your not happy you could always change a few things, although I like the way she is now

I think I used to have a purpose...then again it might have been a dream, I think I used to have a voice...now I never make a sound...

I like Bleed's design and character in general, despite her often downcast view on the world. I think perhaps Bleed reflects a lot of how you feel-she's like an avatar for your emotions (or so it would seem-sorry if I'm totally wrong).
But if your emotions (and perhaps who you are) are changing, maybe Bleed needs to change as well. It nedn't even be a change in her looks, just in the way that you portray her.
Bleed is pretty darn cool: she's the only horse I've ever seen with red stockings :) And one of the few I've ever done fan art of
